About Me
I received my four year degree from Illinois State University. I began my career at Joliet Central High School and have taught at many schools and grade levels over 28 years. I received my Master’s in Reading from Benedictine University in 2005. I am retiring at the end of the 2025 school year. I have been recently working at the elementary school level and would love to continue this by offering tutoring services to families.
I have always been a special education teacher and have worn different hats (Self-Contained, Resource, and Co-Taught classroom types). I have worked with students who have a variety of disabilities.
I have been married for 29 years and have two children ages 28 and 24. We enjoy watching movies, walking our dogs, and taking vacations. I love gardening and cross stitching in my free time.
